Ahi Tuna

Amazing and cooked to perfection. Also it was a huge portion, with green beans on the side, lovely rice beneath. Would order again, highly recommend! We sat outside and felt super safe dining there, will be going back very soon :)

Dungeness Crab Cakes

My husband and I have been fans of Fins for years and the new owners don't disappoint! We have been twice since the re-opening and have enjoyed everything we've had. Fins is a great atmosphere, easily accessible, has great food and service- the whole package! If you haven't tried it you must! BTW, we are not related to anyone who works there!

Peel and Eat Shrimp

Loved the peel and Eat shrimp!!! Especially with the Mexican beer. The cocktail sauce had lot's of horseradish! Yum. Also enjoyed the Fish and Chips, soups and strawberry salad.

Seasonal Bruschetta

Wow! Today was my first time at a restaurant since the COVID lockdown. The staff was friendly and super accommodating. The salad was perfection, and of course sitting out in the patio with some bubbles was pretty amazing. Thanks for making my day! I will be back.

Dungeness Crab Cakes

My boyfriend and I wandered in one evening for small bites and drinks. We both love crab and were so delighted! Beautifully presented and absolutely divine taste. This is one of our favorite places not only for the food but the staff are so friendly and inviting.

Dungeness Crab Cakes

I absolutely LOVE Fins, been going here for years. I always love getting my favorites but also trying new things. Very rarely is a restaurant the whole package - great menu choices for every mood, high quality and fresh ingredients, amazing atmosphere, and finally superb service. Fins checks off every box many times over. Highly recommend! The Dungeness Crab Cakes are a classic. Perfect marriage between all the flavors. You can get this dish in hopes of sharing... but I promise you, after the first bite you won't want to!

Asparagus Fry Bread

The flatbread was so tasty and delicious..also had a watermelon salad that was to die for...fresh juicey and wonderful. Prefect on a hot night...table mates had the crab and shrimp louis that looked fabilous and large...they were in love !!

Fins' Original Crab Bisque

Without any exageration, this is the best crab bisque I have ever had. My past issues with seafood bisques involved either too little of the flavor of the seafood, or too much (because it was artifically flavored). For me, this was perfectly balanced - nicely infused with crab in a rich creamy broth. Delicious. Richard

Parmesan Crusted Chicken Piccata

The best compliment I can pay this newer dish is that I have ordered it for take-out FOUR TIMES. A tender, moist chicken breast, pounded thin, is coated in a panko (I assum) and parmesan crust. It is so good! It is set on a bed of penne pasta, cooked a bit al dente, with a tangy sauce of lemon, capers and fresh cut-up cherry tomatos. Aurgula is served on top. The flavors compliment one another beautifully, and the variety of textures is something I very much enjoy. There is the tender chicken, the crunch of the coating, the tender solidness of the pasta, and the fresh crisp of the arugula. To say the obvious, I will be enjoying this dish many more times as long as it is available. Richard

Ahi Tuna

Wild Alaskan Salmon

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times….,' it was the summer of 2020; the summer of the CoVID-19 pandemic. June 10 was the first day of in-restaurant dining with restrictions in King County. It was also our 59th Wedding Anniversary. We had reservation at Fins Bistro and the staff had assured us that they 'had us covered.' As one can surmise, we are in the high-risk age group and as the time for our dinner approach peer pressures built that we should not yet go out to eat. The restaurant was very accepting of our decision as we told them we were placing a take-out order. We ordered what we planned to have at the in-restaurant dinner. We picked up the order at the agreed upon time and some of it was just coming out of the oven. The items were carefully packed, labeled and boxed for easy transport home. The menu: Capital Oysters on the Half Shell (6 in the order) Dungeness Crab Cakes (2 in the order) Troll Caught Alaskan King Salmon Double R Ranch Tenderloin Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble Tart (2 orders) We paired the oysters (packed on a bed of ice) and crab cakes with our favorite brand of Prosecco and it was all excellent. We moved to this area from the Chesapeake Bay and there we enjoy oysters by the bushel. These were small, but fresh and excellent with several sauces to choose from. Crab cakes in Virginia are from Blue Fin crab and I must say I find the Dungeness to be much better. The ones in our meal were fresh, rich with crab and perfectly seasoned. Being two who like to enjoy everything, we did not envision each of the two entrées to be for just one of us, so the lady of the house prepared two plates by taking a portion of each of the items. As a friend used to say, "I drink RED wine with chocolate cake". So, we used our 'house wine,' a Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, it went down well. After a brief rest, we went for the tarts. We also found two small containers of fruit with candle and a Happy Anniversary wish. The preparation of the meal for take-out was done with care and thought. That was important to preserve the quality and enjoyment of the meal. It was the meal itself that made the evening so grand. The tenderloin was a perfect medium rare and the salmon was not overcooked as is often the case. By blending the two entrées we had a fun mixture of vegetables. This is the second celebratory meal from Fins Bistro that we have had during these trying times. The quality is outstanding. I cannot say which of the items on our menu that we enjoyed the most. In order to do that, I would need to repeat the meal. At least once more.

We love Fins and had the Copper River Salmon when it first arrived. The fish was wonderful with morel mushroom sauce was decadent. Totally recommend this dish.

Pickle Brined Fried Half Chicken

This fried Chicken was crispy on the out side and tender/ juicy on the inside. This recipe would make an awesome chicken sandwich. If they keep coming out with menu item like this chicken, I am going to be in trouble.

Taco Tuesday
